Route description:
The route starts from the hamlet of Maggione and it extends for a short stretch of plain until crossing the stone bridge over the gorge of the Cuccio stream.
Here the road begins to gain altitude until the โChapel of the Climbsโ, from which a downhill stretch leads to Dovia Bridge, where ancient artifacts are found such as a water hammer, a grain mill, one lime kiln e coal deposits. Near the confluence of the Cuccio streams Of Cavargna and of Saint Bartholomew, there are the sockets for the production of electricity.
After crossing a stone bridge, the road goes up to the hamlet of Sister, where two are located votive chapels. From Sister, it is possible to continue along the road until Saint Bartholomew, from where you can return to the starting point at Carlazzo using public transport.
