From the 1963, Camping Ranocchio is synonymous with relax in a family environment, authentic contact with nature and high-quality service.

Founded by Gerolamo and Elena, along with their daughter Agata, this campsite has evolved over the years, always maintaining the goal of offering comfort and fun to its guests.

Since 2016, management has been entrusted to the new generation, who with passion and dedication continue to preserve family values, introducing innovations to improve the campers' experience.

Located in Porlezza Plan, between the Lake Como and the Lake Ceresio, Camping Ranocchio is located on the banks of a picturesque lake, with picnic areas and a’reserved recreation area and extends over terraces. It has delimited pitches, both shaded and sunny.

Inserted inside the Piano Lake Nature Reserve, established in 1983, the campsite covers an area of approximately 20,000 sq m. This area includes a bookable area, a section directly overlooking the lake (not available for customers with ACSI CARD), and a free part.

Thanks to the’direct access to the beach, Camping Ranocchio allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature, offering moments of relaxation in an extraordinary setting. Furthermore, you can explore the surrounding area by walking along the nearby trails. nature trails and the cycle/pedestrian paths.

With over 55 years of experience, the campsite is the ideal destination for those who want an unforgettable holiday, in harmony with nature and with all the necessary comforts.

Opening Hours and Services

• Gates: Open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm (for customer use only)
• Reception: from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 19:30
• Pool: from 10:00 to 19:00
• Seasonal opening: April 1 – September 30

Campsite Services

• Wi-Fi: free internet on some pitches, coverage in two areas of the campsite
• Toilets: two groups with sinks, hot and cold showers, sinks for dishes and laundry, washing machines, dryers, baby room, disabled facilities and chemical toilets
• Library: at the reception, books, newspapers and information brochures about the area
• Playground: exclusive play area with ping pong table near the pool
• Picnic area: reserved for customers, for moments of relaxation surrounded by nature
• Pool: Free for all guests, large swimming pool of approximately 200 m² and children's pool (depth 60 cm)
