Andean Cleaning Techniques at Fornace Galli: Tuesday, June 2nd with Martina Mamani
Tuesday, June 2, 2026
Description
A day suspended between the mountains of Sanagra Valley and the plateaus of the Peruvian Andes: Tuesday June 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Galli Furnace of Grandola and United welcomes Martina Mamani Arosquipa, Master Medicine of the Andean Quechua tradition, for an experience dedicated to the ancient cleaning techniques —the energetic cleansing of the Andean shamanic tradition. A proposal from the association LariOm to rediscover balance, lightness and deep connection.
What is an Andean limpia?
In the shamanic tradition of the Andes everything is energy and for this reason we pay great attention to always remaining in balance in our relationships with ourselves, with others and with the world. Pachamama, Mother Earth. Through ritual practices one learns to free oneself from heavy energies, to rebalance one's energy field and to re-establish harmony between body, mind and spirit.
During the day at Fornace Galli, through the knowledge of the sacred plants and the Despacho ritual at Pachamama —a sacred offering to Mother Earth—Martina will bring healing on an energetic and physical level. She will be accompanied in translations and cultural mediation by Luigi Jannarone, sociologist and scholar of American Indian shamanic culture.
Martina Mamani Arosquipa, “Messenger of the Stars”
Martina Mamani — whose ceremonial name is Siwar Qoyllur, “Messenger of the Stars” — is a curandera and spiritual guide of the indigenous community of Raqchi, in the district of Cusco in Peru, where she is guardian of the temple of Wiracocha, the Great Creator Spirit. She brings with her the wisdom, humility, gentleness, and connection to Pachamama that are characteristic of her tradition. She travels throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe, championing the voice and rights of Mother Earth, and is often invited to international cultural gatherings to represent the Andean tradition of Peru.
