Piano in Movimento Reserve: Running and walking at Lake Piano

Description

Sunday 27 September 2026 was born first edition Of “Moving Plan Reserve”: one non-competitive walking open to all, including a non-competitive race on the 8 km, immersed in the Piano Lake Nature Reserve, to Carlazzo. Organize Phoenix ASD, with the patronage of the Municipalities of Porlezza, Carlazzo and Bene Lario and the collaboration of the Amici di Piano Association.

Aim of the day: to promote physical activity, socialising and the valorisation of one of the most precious naturalistic corners of the 5 Valleys, in the Menaggio Valley which connects the Lake Ceresio and Lake Como.

Two ways to experience it: running and walking

A single path of 8 km, entirely within the Reserve, to be experienced in two ways:

• Runner race — non-competitive 8 km race;
• Family walk —over the same 8 km, at a free pace.

The program of the day

• Meeting point: Reserve House
• On-site registration and race pack collection: from 8:00 to 9:45
• Departure: from the Wooden House, around 10:00 am — arrival at the Pier, Ranocchio area
• From 12:00: large lunch with the Friends of the Piano (included in the fee)
• 1:00 PM: awards

Registration and fee

Registration fee €10, free for children up to 13 years old, including a race pack with an official gift and a meal voucher. Registration is available on-site on the day, or in the days leading up to the race. until September 25th at the Terzo Tempo Bar and Unipol Porlezza (Franco Spiatta).

Awards

At 1:00 pm, awards will be given to the overall male and female winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), the largest family, and the youngest and oldest participant (male and female).
