Description
The return Gastronomic Walk of Claino with Osteno, arrived at the 10th edition: Sunday, August 2, 2026, a day of flavours, culture, music and fun organised by Pro Loco Claino con Osteno, on the banks of the Lake Ceresio.
A path of 3 km completely downhill, with 15 food and wine stops among the villages of Barclaino, Claino, Osteno and Righeggia, to discover typical products, art and local traditions. Registration and departure at Barclaino, from 11:00 to 12:30.
The 15 stages of taste
The menu of the walk, all included in the ticket:
- Spritz with Captain Butumiera / non-alcoholic juice
- Prawns in green sauce
- The scent of couscous
- Polenta uncia
- Caponata
- Peach and Tomato Gazpacho
- Ice cream break
- Little fish and chips
- Arrosticini

Art, visits and music along the route
In addition to food, the day offers guided tours and shows in the villages. Claino: the painted village, the guided tour of the Church of San Vincenzo (12:00 pm) and the concert of “La Fughetti” (1:00 pm). Osteno: a visit to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul (2:30 PM), the craft and food market, exhibitions by artists (Alex Galli – Sagal and Friends, and watercolors by Daniela Antoniali and students), a new concert by "La Fughetti" (3:30 PM), and live music on the beach with the Duo Veleno Acustico (starting at 4:00 PM). Stops will also be made at the Church of the Madonna delle Grazie in Barclaino and the Church of San Rocco in Righeggia.
Mini-boat tour on Lake Ceresio (included)
New in the ticket: a panoramic mini-tour by boat on the Gulf of Porlezza, aboard the motor vessel Milano, lasting approximately 30 minutes. Boarding at Osteno pier, with departures at 2:00 PM, 2:45 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:15 PM and 5:00 PM (every 45 minutes, boarding subject to availability for each journey). No additional costs: an opportunity to admire the Lake Ceresio from a different perspective.

Ticket €25.00 from 11 years old, free up to 10 years. Participation limited to 800 people (Last year it was sold out). How to get there
Free parking for cars and motorbikes in Barclay, the starting point of the walk. At the end of the route, a free shuttle bus will take participants back to the parking lot.
