Livestock Show on Lake Ceresio in Porlezza

Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 9:00 am, The Porto Letizia Park hosts the 10th Livestock Show on Lake Ceresio: a whole day dedicated to the agricultural world and livestock farming in the area, on the banks of the Lake Ceresio, to Porlezza. Breed competitions, animal blessings, equestrian shows, markets, and chestnut festivals: "our land, our celebration.".

The program of the day

• 7:00 am — arrival and accommodation of the animals
• 9:00 am — Opening of the Show and evaluation of the animals: competitions for the breeds Alpine Grey, Original brunette, Red Spotted, Alpine Brown e Italian Friesian, with the proclamation of Queen and Queenie
• 10:00 am — blessing of the animals and musical moment with the Santa Cecilia Philharmonic of Porlezza
• 11:00 am — wicker workshop by the ANFFAS La Rosa Blu Foundation
• 12:00 PM — lunch provided by Pro Loco and of the’Alpine Association
• 2:30 PM — award ceremony for the winning items of the competitions
• 3:30 PM — equestrian show Symphony
• 4:00 PM — sheep shearing demonstration
• From 5:00 pm — music with DJ Gabe Alfano

All day long

• Horse paddocks, for those who want to try riding
• Craft markets
• Exhibition and sale of local food and wine products
• Pro Loco Chestnut Festival

The enclosures and the equestrian show are looked after by the Ceresio Riding School and from Prato Rotondo Riding School.
