The 36th edition of the Feast of Our Lady of Muzzaglio in Valsolda

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2026 returns, for the 36th edition, the Feast of Our Lady of Muzzaglio: two days of tradition, mountain cuisine and music in the Muzzaglio area, among the woods above the Borgo di Castello in Valsolda. They organize the Parish of San Martino di Castello and the Pro Loco Valsolda.

Saturday, September 5th — dinner and music

• 6:00 PM — Spritz Party;
• 7:00 PM — dinner with traditional dishes: MecMüsai, french fries, busecca, polenta ounce and more;
• Live music with “Veleno”, to follow DJ set with Lorenz and Mr.Alk The Voice.

Sunday, September 6th — the celebration of tradition

• 10:00 am — reopening of the restaurant;
• 11:00 am — Solemn Holy Mass;
• 12:00 PM — lunch (pasta, grilled meat, busecca, polenta oncia…);
• 2:30 PM — Vespers and traditional enchantment of the baskets;
• All afternoon long lawn games for adults and children;
• 6:00 PM — closing of the event.

Getting there: Parking at San Rocco and a walk through the woods

Muzzaglio cannot be reached by car: yes park in San Rocco (coming from the Dasio hamlet, up to the end of the municipal road) and continue standing along the path marked on the map: approximately 800 meters with 85 meters of altitude difference, about twenty minutes of easy walking In the woods. Comfortable shoes are recommended: the walk is already part of the experience.
