Library under the stars: Sabrina Sigon in Corrido
Friday, July 24, 2026
Description
La Corrido Library presents “Library under the stars”: Friday, July 24, 2026, at 8:30 PM, on the churchyard of the Church of SS. Materno and Martino a Corridor, a meeting with the writer Sabrina Sigon. Free admission; the evening will conclude with light refreshments. In case of rain, the meeting will be held at the Oratory.
The writer presents two of her books, “Imperfect Numbers” e “Only 12 minutes” (Castelvecchi), in dialogue with Anna Danielon. At the heart of the meeting are two exceptional threads - the mathematics and the time — in a plot that puts relationships at the center.
The author
Sabrina Sigon was born in Milan and lives and works in Como. She studied languages and psychomotor skills and contributes to CiaoComo Radio with articles and interviews. "Solo 12 minuti" was a finalist for the City of Como International Literature Prize.
The books
“Imperfect Numbers” It contains nineteen short stories: glimpses of life in which the protagonists, unconventional and "imperfect," face trials that reveal their character and challenge relationships and social conventions. A thin thread ties all the stories together: mathematics, the acid test to see if, in life, everything adds up. “Only 12 minutes” alongside this, the theme of time, measured in twelve minutes that can change a life.
