An apartment with a flavour of times gone by, immersed in the narrow streets and stone roofs that served as the setting for the film. <em>Little Ancient World<\/em> Based on the novel by Antonio Fogazzaro. From the windows and private terrace, the view opens onto one of the most scenic views of the lake, from the bell towers of the Valsolda villages to the mountains on the opposite shore.<\/p>\n<h2>The accommodation<\/h2>\n<p>The house is on one floor and accommodates up to <strong>five people<\/strong>. It is composed as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Private terrace<\/strong> With a view of Lake Ceresio and outdoor furniture, it&#039;s ideal for breakfast and sunset aperitifs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Large living-dining room<\/strong> with wooden paneling, wrought iron chandeliers and double panoramic windows overlooking the lake.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kitchenette<\/strong> Equipped with a gas hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, pour-over coffee machine, dishes and basic utensils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Double bedroom<\/strong> furnished in classic style with wardrobe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sofa bed<\/strong> in the living room for additional guests (maximum 5 beds).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bath<\/strong> complete with bathtub, sink, bidet and toilet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The entrance is private and independent. <strong>self check-in<\/strong> A safe allows for flexible arrivals at any time. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, heating, cable TV, linens, and bathroom amenities. Guests are welcome. <strong>pets<\/strong> A cot and playpen are available for families with small children. Free municipal parking is available about 50 meters from the apartment.<\/p>\n<h2>What to see nearby: the village and Piccolo Mondo Antico<\/h2>\n<p>Villa Viola is located in one of the most picturesque hamlets of Valsolda. <strong>Albogasio<\/strong> and the neighboring one <strong>Oria<\/strong> These medieval villages overlook the lake, and were chosen as the setting for the 1941 film starring Alida Valli and Massimo Girotti.
