Saturday October 24, 2026<\/strong>, from 6:00 pm<\/strong>, the\u2019Oratory of Laino<\/strong> hosts Diego Day<\/strong>: the evening that friends and fellow musicians of Diego Paterlini<\/strong> They dedicate it to him every year, in the way that most resembled him. "It's you I wanted to play with," says the poster.<\/p>\n

Friendship, music, solidarity<\/h2>\n

Diego was a musician of Laino<\/strong>, one of those people who could unite everyone around a stage. Diego Day was born there: from the friends who continued to play for him and who every year turn the memory into a celebration. They themselves explain the spirit: getting together "to remember the great Diego and have fun as he loved to do.".<\/p>\n

Over the years the initiative has grown to become a community event: one of the editions attracted over two thousand people<\/strong> and more than seven hours of music, with bands, marching bands and soloists who took turns on stage - and with Davide Van De Sfroos<\/strong>, came to play with friends for Diego.<\/p>\n

Added to the music is the third thing that holds the evening together: all proceeds go to the cystic fibrosis research<\/strong> of the\u2019Gaslini Hospital in Genoa<\/strong>, where Diego was followed, with the support of the Italian Cystic Fibrosis League Liguria<\/strong>. Every beer and every dish served that evening becomes a concrete contribution.<\/p>\n

Who's playing this year<\/h2>\n

They take turns on stage Salvo and the Unexpected<\/strong> he Nice Price<\/strong>, with a tribute to Nanni Svampa<\/strong>, the Milanese singer-songwriter who, with the Gufi and later as a solo artist, brought Lombard folk songs to the stage. A repertoire that speaks the language of his hometown.<\/p>\n

The kitchen and bar remain open throughout the evening: drinks, food and beer.<\/p>\n
