It&#039;s the light Fogazzaro loved, the kind that inspires reflection and contemplation. The final event of the season to discover <strong>Villa Fogazzaro Roi<\/strong> and the villages of Valsolda, before autumn transforms the colours of the landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, curated by <strong>TOGETHER TOURISM<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>FAI \u2013 Italian Environmental Fund<\/strong>, offers an original itinerary that goes beyond a simple visit to the Villa, extending to the villages of <strong>Oria<\/strong>, <strong>Lower Albogasio<\/strong> e <strong>Castle<\/strong>, where time seems to have stopped.<\/p>\n<h2>Practical information<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> Sunday, August 30, 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting point:<\/strong> Villa Fogazzaro Roi Ticket Office, 9:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> about 3 hours<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recommended clothing:<\/strong> comfortable shoes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfer to Castello:<\/strong> with your own means<\/li>\n<li><strong>Guide:<\/strong> Brian Subinaghi, licensed tour guide<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participants:<\/strong> maximum 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If the minimum number of participants is not reached or due to bad weather, the event will be canceled or postponed.<\/p>\n<h2>The itinerary: from the Villa to the villages<\/h2>\n<p>The visit is conducted by <strong>Brian Subinaghi<\/strong>, a licensed tourist guide, and is divided into three stages that tell the deep soul of this territory.<\/p>\n<h3>Villa Fogazzaro Roi<\/h3>\n<p>The tour begins at the famous lakeside residence, where Antonio Fogazzaro wrote some of his most important works. The guided tour allows you to discover the villa&#039;s original rooms, the garden, and the writer&#039;s intimate relationship with this place.<\/p>\n<h3>The villages of Oria and Albogasio Inferiore<\/h3>\n<p>A guided walk through the alleys and squares of the two historic villages, discovering ancient architecture, hidden churches, and panoramic views of the lake. After passing Albogasio, at the junction for Castello, you&#039;ll find Villa Fogazzaro Roi.<\/p>\n<h3>From Lugano<\/h3>\n<p>Follow the signs for the Dogana di Gandria and Oria. At the junction for Castello, you&#039;ll find Villa Fogazzaro Roi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> To access Swiss highways, you need a motorway sticker.
