Route description:
The walk offers an engaging journey through the history and the culture of the territory. The route begins at the suggestive Porlezza lakeside and continues through the feature Garibaldi Street.
Once you reach the Civic Centre square, turn left to go up towards the small Church of San Rocco, then descend again towards the embankment of the Rezzo River. After crossing the bridge, you tackle the second and final climb up to the hamlet of Begna.
From here, we descend again to Agria, following the road near the ancient archiepiscopal college of Sant'Ambrogio, until reaching Tavordo. Continuing east you cross the bridge over the Cuccio River and follow the embankment along the cycle/pedestrian path.
Turning left on the bridge of Via Galbiga you will quickly reach the Lagadone canal, continuing on the path along its bank you reach the Piccola Church of San Maurizio. Finally, you return to the lakeside and the starting point by crossing the Porto Letizia Park.
