Friday, May 16, 2025, at 8:45 PM, at the Loggio Schools in Valsolda, We invite you to a special evening dedicated to all lovers of good food and authentic traditions:
βThe Como cheesemaking traditionβ, an event that combines culture, taste and conviviality.
An event between culture and sensory tasting
Led by Simonetta Cortella, expert in cheese culture, we will retrace the history and secrets of the typical cheeses from the province of Como through a journey made of images, stories and tastings.
During the evening the following will be offered:
Image projection which tell the story of the cheesemakers' work and the beauty of the Como landscape.
Guided tasting of four traditional cheeses, selected among the best of the area, in a real experience of sensory evaluation.
Final refreshment, to share flavors and emotions in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
Traditional Como cheeses
The dairy heritage of our area is rich and varied: from Semuda to the Zincarlin, from the Cheese to mountain pasture products, each taste tells the story of a community tied to the land and the mountains.
During the evening, we'll discover how these cheeses are made, their unique characteristics, and how to recognize their quality and authenticity.
