Christmas in the village of Drano
The village of Drano (Valsolda) transforms into an enchanted village for Christmas in the Borgo di Drano, an event rich in atmosphere and tradition. On Sunday, December 21st, starting at 10:00 a.m., the town welcomes visitors with nativity scenes, Christmas music, local cuisine, and the charming Santa Claus House. In the afternoon, a live nativity scene will take place, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus. The day begins with Holy Mass. An unmissable event to experience the authentic Christmas in the villages of Valsolda.
Christmas Markets in Castello 2025
On Sunday, November 23, 2025, the village of Castello in Valsolda will be decked out in festive style for its Christmas Markets: a day of local crafts, tastings, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and a festive atmosphere. Santa Claus will arrive at 3:30 pm, much to the delight of both adults and children. All proceeds will be donated to the Castello charity.
Roberto Genazzini – The one I liked the most

The work is based on the touching and dramatic true story of a young Jewish woman from Milan turned away at the Cantine di Gandria customs post during the war.
