Living Nativity Scene of Sora 2025
The Cavargna Valley returns to experience its most authentic Christmas with the 19th edition of the Living Nativity Scene in Sora, one of the most evocative Alpine events in the Ceresio area.
Organized by the Val Cavargna Folklore Group, the nativity scene features over 120 performers, transforming the ancient hamlet of Sora into a true early 20th-century village, complete with traditional crafts, reopened homes, glowing fireplaces, and a timeless atmosphere.
The event will take place on December 24 (with a torchlight procession and Holy Mass) and on December 26-27-28, 2025, with access via free shuttles from San Bartolomeo.
