Valsanagra Ethnographic Natural History Museum
The Valsanagra Ethnographic and Naturalistic Museum, housed in the splendid Villa Camozzi in Grandola ed Uniti, is a unique educational center with seven themed rooms on two floors: paleontology with 310-million-year-old fossils, eco-faunal dioramas, freeze-dried mushrooms, ethnography, and the historic Menaggio-Porlezza railway.
Valsanagra Park
A local park of intermunicipal interest in the heart of the Lepontine Prealps, between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. 15 km of trails with a 1,900 m elevation gain, a wild environment with woods, meadows, mountain pastures, over 100 resident animal species, and the Valsanagra Ecomuseum with 310-million-year-old fossils.
